VLG Studios and the perfect wildlife original drawings

Let’s discuss the best locations where a wildlife photographer can get the maximum inspiration. Skomer Island, Pembrokeshire, Wales: Another wildlife park which has slipped under the radar of the tourist is the Skomer Island. Known for its mesmerizing scenic beauty and fantastic array of wildlife this island welcomes a lot of tourist every year. This island is famous for Razorbills and Guillemots who lines up in the shoreline creating an outstanding view for the onlookers. One can also find larger seabirds such as Fulmars and Gannets fishing around the island while Shags and Cormorants drying their wings on the rocks. Other than that, one can also find numerous migratory birds in this region which makes it ideal for some of the best pictures.

India: The diverse habitats of Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, composed of grasslands, forests and bamboo bush, are home to around 100 of India’s tigers. You’ll spend most of your time out on safari, so the holidays can be pretty full on. Naturalist guides here have led internationally renowned photographers, so you’re in good company. Kanha can be easily combined with Keoladeo National Park for bird watching, too.

I hope to be able to produce at least 24 paintings in 24 hours and all of the originals produced during the 24 hours will be given to the highest donators who have donated more than £30, with the most generous donator getting first choice and so on. My theme for the event is African wildlife and as many of you know, I do love to paint big cats, so there will be some big cats in the originals produced on the day. You can follow me live as I complete my paintathon challenge as I will be doing live video feeds via facebook and Instagram throughout the 24 hours and posting regularly on both with updates on my progress Facebook @Vanessa.Grundy.Artist Instagram @vlgstudios. And of course, you can follow my progress and find out more on here. Find additional information on Wildlife Original Drawings.

My new supplier going forward is a UK based company that focuses on minimising their impact on the environment, and aims to guide and influence their customers into making eco-friendly choices for their printing. Through this, I am now able to offer products that: were produced by a waterless and chemical free printer; are supplied in only recycled boxes with biodegradable eco-flo packaging as an alternative to polyester ‘peanuts’; contain only 100% recycled paper or paper from sustainably managed forests; use Carbon Offset papers and printed with vegetable oil based inks; and produced by people who recycle 100% of their printing generated waste with none going to landfill!

?In my artwork, I try to focus on capturing the expressions or emotions of an individual. My new course is both fascinating and enlightening, as it has enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the animals I love to paint and draw. Giraffes are highly sociable and very interested in what we are up to, especially when it involves food! Over the past seven years, I have exhibited my work and entered into recognised competitions within the UK. Read extra details at https://www.vlgstudios.com/.
