Corporate training professional

Wellness consulting expert by Roderick M. Mason? Organizations today are incorporating interactive training into their learning and development strategies, moving away from the traditional model of classroom-based, instructor-led training. Interactive training has proven to be more effective in terms of delivering quality output. Watching a training video without any interaction makes the trainees mere spectators and passive learners. Whereas regular interactions and participation ensure that the users are actively involved in the learning, and helps them stay engaged. People tend to remember things more vividly when they are involved in the action. Surgeons don’t start operating on a patient after watching a couple of surgery videos.

Having a mixture of both offline and online training activities gets you the best of both strategies. Blended learning for corporate training allows your employees to learn at their own pace and have the support they need if and when required. Choosing the right blended learning model will help you break the monotony of corporate training, reinforce your employees on their online training, and increase the engagement and motivation levels of their overall training experience. Face-to-face interactions following online self-study, or vice versa, optimize the unique benefits of each; the productive partnership of real and digital world allows your employees to plan their learning and develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Furthermore, incorporating multiple learning channels and multimedia into your blended learning for corporate training method will allow your audience to access large amounts of information via a variety of ways, such as videos, podcasts, and more, and thus successfully fulfill their different learning needs.

In a survey of 11,000 leaders on 4 continents, 95% of the leaders using this process improved! Following this process, more or less, guarantees measurable leadership growth. Obviously, the leader has to be willing to put aside her ego, solicit feedback on her leadership behavior and be open to the feedback instead of defending or dismissing it. A certified coach in the Marshall Goldsmith stakeholder centered coaching methodology provides the leader all the support, encouragement, and accountability that is required to successfully change their leadership behavior on the job. Just as a personal trainer would help someone with their fitness regime, the leadership coach works with the leader to improve their “leadership fitness”. What Does it Take to be a Transformational Coach? Fierceness is not aggressive or violent. It’s not an “in-your-face” way to confront people and get them to change. Fierceness is not telling people what to do and how to do it. The degree to which you are committed to the well-being of the people you serve will be the degree to which you are willing to be fiercely present, fiercely available and fiercely intentional in your word, deed and actions. Compassion is not sympathy or empathy, but its close. You are exercising compassion when you remain in your own shoes while witnessing another’s human challenges. You know through your own experience that taking on the task of being human is a huge endeavor. Without judgment and without pity, you allow your heart to open and remain open in the presence of the other. Reverence, respect and awe flow through you toward the individual with whom you are sitting; this person who is experiencing some form of human drama. You allow him or her dignity to walk their own unique path of struggles, challenges and joys, while in your heart you hold a space of love and a bittersweet pride, for you know that we all walk this path together. You feel for them and at the same time you remain detached.

This was the start of new challenges as the next chapter of Roderick’s life had personal loss, adversity, and despair. His aunt suffered a stroke, and a month later he had to rush his father to the hospital. Roderick spent the next few weeks visiting his aunt in rehab, attending to his father, and fulfilling the responsibilities of the house. However, he was unable to continue his journey as a personal trainer as the death of his father struck him hard. Roderick left behind his role as a personal trainer and opened a commercial cleaning franchise. After operating this franchise for the next five years, he put it to a stop as he was unable to serve wholeheartedly. The quest for contentment and solace ultimately led him to the road of a corporate trainer. Read additional info at https://www.holisticcoachingsolutions.com/.
